THE LADY WRANGLERS WRESTLING TEAM HAS OFFICIALLY MADE HISTORY BY SECURING THEIR 3RD CONSECUTIVE ALL-CITIES CHAMPIONSHIP VICTORY!
The Lady Wranglers girls wrestling team has etched their name into the record books, claiming their third consecutive All-Cities Championship. On their way to becoming All-Cities Champions, the Lady Wranglers had earned 136 individual wins, 94 pins, and 37 medals— This team has not only upheld a winning tradition here at West but has elevated this program to new heights. This program also experienced massive growth again this year, as the team grew from 8 members two years ago to 48 members this year. We are so proud of this team, the hard work they poured into this season, the character they showed on and off the mats, and the growth they showed as individuals and as a team.
From the first match of the season in November to the All-Cities Championship in January, the Lady Wranglers showcased high levels of grit, discipline, and relentless determination on the mats. Every athlete on the roster contributed to the team’s success, pushing themselves in practice, challenging their teammates, and rising to the occasion under pressure. Their hard work on and off the mat translated into results that speak for themselves—victories earned through skill, resilience, and an unbreakable team bond.
The 136 wins, 94 pins, and 37 medals earned this season reflected the consistency and competitiveness across every weight class on this Lady Wranglers team. These accomplishments didn't come easy, but the Lady Wranglers faced every challenge head-on and rose above every challenge they faced. Winning three straight All-Cities Championships is no small feat, and it’s a testament to the hard work, passion, and commitment of the athletes, as well as the unwavering support of our West community.
We are incredibly proud of our wrestlers and everything they’ve achieved this season, as well as the two seasons prior. The legacy they have created will continue to inspire and pave the way for future generations of Lady Wranglers wrestlers for years to come. We are grateful to have seen such immense growth in our athletes as individuals and in our program as a whole this season, and we are so excited to see what all is in store for these athletes and this program in years to come.
