The Lady Wranglers opened up their season against the Grapevine Lady Ponies!

The A Team had a slow start with missed passes on serve receive and too many missed serves. Kherington Frazier went on a rally of serves to get the Wranglers back in the game, but with powerful hits from Grapevine's middle hitter, we were no match for them and we lost in 2 games.

The B Team was a back and forth match. Lots of missed served, but the girls fought hard and took the first match. With the second match, there were some mental mistakes, missed passes, and Grapevine ended up taking the 2nd match. The 3rd game, it was a back and forth battle. Amina Hashim went on a solid run of serves and the girls ended up winning a nail biter winning the match 2-1.

The C Team was also an intense match, going back and forth. Lots of great plays. Prisha Patel went on a 7 serve run to get the Wranglers a solid lead. With solid net play and good passing, the Wranglers beat Grapevine 2-0.

Great job last night and we go on to play Heritage next week!
