The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler A Team tied this week against the Coppell Middle School East Broncos. It was a hard-fought battle the entire game and the final result came down to the last 30 seconds of the game. The Wrangler offense commanded the entire first quarter with a long offensive drive, but they were unable to move it into the end zone. In the second quarter, the Bronco offense managed to control most of the quarter, but they were also stopped by the West Defense. The score was 0-0 going into halftime. In the second half the CMS West Wranglers scored first and managed to stop the East offense. The Broncos got the ball back in the final two minutes and scored a game tying touchdown with 12 seconds to go. Wrangler quarterback and plater of the game, Nevin Palmer, led the West offense in rushing yards and touchdowns. On defense, Temid Daibo and Shiryansh Giri led the team in tackles. Next week, the CMS West Wranglers will travel to Colleyville Middle School to take on the Colts.
