Last week, the Lady Wranglers took on a tough Cross Timbers team. A Team started off strong and stuck with them for the most part, but despite their tough efforts, they lost the match 2-0. The team showed more leadership and teamwork this past game, which helped make the games more fun to watch and competitive. Isha Deshmukh was one of the players of the game having some great sets and plays!

B Team struggled with communication and completing the 2nd and 3rd touches. With lack of focus and not hustling towards the ball, Cross Timbers easily beat the girls 2-0. Strong efforts were made my Ahiri Neeli and Aditi Nutheti. Ahiri had some great net plays!

C Team was a neck and neck match. The Lady Wranglers took game one. Strong serving by the Lady Wranglers and good passes earned them the victory. As for the second game, Cross Timbers had a couple of tough servers that we couldn't break the serve. We lost game two, to lead into game three. The girls couldn't keep up the momentum and get focused, and ended up losing their first match of the season. Kruthika Kadmghari was the Wrangler of the Week. She had some great passes and defensive plays.

The Lady Wranglers host Coppell North for their last regular season game before preparing for the A Team District Tournament!
