Last night, the West Wranglers traveled to Coppell Middle School North to face off against the North Cougars in the end of season playoff tournament. First, the Wranglers stopped at Chick-Fil-A for a fun team dinner and some much-needed (and very delicious!) sustenance. Upon arriving at the game, the Wranglers were excited and ready to play their crosstown rivals. The Wranglers could feel the pressure but played with incredible heart and high intensity throughout the entirety of the game, and although they did not ultimately come out with a win, we could not be more proud of this team and the way they finished their season.
We also were incredibly proud of the fact that we had so many B team members, C team members, and managers come out to support the A team in their final tournament. This 8th grade team has been incredibly impressive on the court, but one of the most impressive things about this team both on and off the court has been the way that they have encouraged and uplifted one another. In everything they faced this season, they remained constant sources of support for one another, and we could not be more proud of them. It was an honor to watch their skills and character grow this season, and we cannot wait to see all that they achieve in the future.
Penguin pack phorever.
