Last night, our Girls Wrestling team traveled to Coppell High School to compete against the East Broncos, North Cougars, Heritage Broncos, and Colleyville Colts. After two weeks of working hard in practice together, the Wranglers were ready to take on the challenge of their first match. Before heading to the meet, the Wranglers took some time to identify those who stood out as leaders on this team and selected Ariella Aguilar, Aanya Bajwala, and Haya Khan as their 2025-26 Girls Wrestling Captains.

By the end of the night, the Wranglers were able to earn 32 wins and 15 pins. It was such an exiting night on the mats, but even more exciting than all of the wins and pins was the way that our athletes supported one another both on and off the mats this week. We could not be more proud of our athletes, their hard work, and their character, and we cannot wait for an amazing season together!
