The Lady Wranglers opened up their season with a tough, rival Coppell East. The girls started off strong with pushing the ball down the court, transition, and putting on a tough press. Shradda Kakani was the Wrangler of the Week with 28 points and 16 steals. She took advantage of the motion offense, drove to the basket to convert points. Kena Kimathi added 12 steals and gave Coppell East some challenges under the basket with her tough rebounding. Rachel Lin added her strong defensive skills on the press as well. The final score was 43 to 25. Way to go Lady Wranglers!
