On Wednesday night, the West Wranglers Wrestling team traveled to Cross Timbers Middle School for an exciting face off against the East Broncos, North Cougars, and Cross Timbers Wolves.
The Wranglers came into the meet prepared to fight hard and adapt to any changes and challenges that arose. They did a phenomenal job on the mats and were very supportive of their teammates off the mats, never hesitating to step up to help one another when they needed it.
By the end of the meet, the Wranglers were able to earn 25 wins and 17 pins. This brought their season total to 88 wins and 52 pins. Last year, records were set for most wins and pins in a single season. Despite having fewer wrestlers on the team this year, the Wranglers are ahead of last year's win and pin total at the halfway mark of the season. We are so proud of the Wranglers and their adaptability, resilience, and hard work in all they do.
On Wednesday, the Wranglers will travel to Coppell High School to compete in their final match of 2025: the Santa Slam against the East Broncos, North Cougars, Mattei Jaguars, and Southard Panthers. We hope to see you there!
