The Lady Wranglers had another heartbreaking loss this week. Two weeks in a row, the girls have lost in the last few seconds of the game. Another low scoring game this week, with the Lady Wranglers leading the game the entire time 8-4. However, North kept coming back, making a shot late in the 4th quarter, and then making one free throw to have the game set at 8-7. With under a minute to go in the 4th quarter, the girls were holding them to the best they could. The girls showed grit, tough defense, and hit the boards. But with missed passes, North kept getting possession of the ball and with a lucky shot going up with 30 seconds left, North made the basket to put them up 9-8. Lady Wranglers had some opportunities to get the lead, but couldn't convert to win the game. Two weeks in row now, last week in OT, and this week by 1 point, but the girls are in good spirits and played their hearts out. We go on to play Grapevine next week.

As for the B team, we continue to show improvement every week. We didn't convert shots like we wanted, and North had a tough press the girls couldn't break, but they kept fighting. The final score was 21-2. We hope to get a victory the next 2 games of the season!
