On Monday the West Tennis team got off to a strong start to their season. The boys and girls all went on court with a positive attitude and ready to play. Each and every one of them was rewarded came off the court with a win! A special shoutout to Arush Duggi who had to fight for every point from what I could see, but came off with an impressive score of 6-0. It's great to see them work hard and for it all to pay off.

What was even more impressive to me was their sportsmanship however. I got complements from the Grapevine coach on how kind and considerate our West athletes were on and off the court. It warms my heart to know that the tennis team is strong not just while playing but also having strong character. I hope to see them succeed just as much as we go into our next match with Heritage next week.
