The Lady Wranglers traveled to Rhome, Tx this week to take on the Chisholm Trail Bulldogs.

The B Team showed amazing growth this week. While our opponent was much tougher this week than last week, we also played much better. We applied the focus of our practices to our play. This week we tried to improve our movement on the court, our communication, and our serving. In all two out of the three areas, we improved dramatically during game play since last week. For our awards this week we are focusing on defense. Our 2 players of the game are Kiyanna Bhakta and Gisselle Canchola for their movement and the court and keeping the ball in play. I do also have to have an honorable mention of Jia Gupta for getting 10 serves over the net. Great job ladies. We are extremely proud of you.

Our A team had a tough game this week, but we could see some definite improvement overall. We struggled on serve receive, but defense hung in there and had some great digs! The girls supported each other on the bench and in the game, our communication is getting better, and we are excited to see how much more we get better moving into next week. Our players of the game this week were Meera Patel, who was our best server for the night and played great in both sets, and Kennady Coronado, who stepped up and jumped in the game when we needed help. We are looking forward to our first home game of the season against Indian Springs.
