The Wranglers started their first game of the season at home. The game started slowly as both teams were playing great defense and getting multiple stops. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 7-2, Wranglers in the lead. In the second quarter, the Panthers made a run in the 2nd quarter, but the Wranglers kept making plays on offense and extended their lead. The Wranglers went into halftime with a 12-4 lead. In the 3rd quarter, the Panthers cut the lead down to 4. The Wranglers held on to win 24-16. Hatim Nicobar led the Wranglers with 6 points, and great defense plays by Aryas Raut, Abdul Mirza, Justice Ihezie, and Stanley Calvin. Ryker Villines led the Wranglers with 8 rebounds. Sree Surapaneni, Vignesh Dhanasekar, Tiam Ansari, and Johan Padayatti contributed with 3 rebounds apiece. Bobby Hatfield led the Wranglers with 4 assists. The CMS West Wranglers will take on the Chisholm Trail Rangers next week at home.

The Coppell West Wranglers took on the Vista Ridge Panthers in their first game at home. The Wranglers started off firing from all cylinders as Drake Baes got everyone involved with great point guard play. The Wranglers were up 11-3 after the first with strong play from Cameron Molina and Aston Huynh. Jaiden Chatman, Zyan Patel, and Logan Garica came off the bench and played great defense, which helped expand the lead going into halftime with the Wranglers leading 25-8. The second half opened up the lead with some three-pointers from Trey Holt. The Wranglers won the game 53-14. Sebastian Pena led the Wranglers with 25 points. The CMS West Wranglers will be looking to stay undefeated next week as they host the Chisholm Trail Rangers.
