7th Grade A Team
CMS West: 42
Tidwell: 56

The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers played against the Tidwell Titans on the road for the season's most exciting game so far. The game was fast-paced from start to finish. Both teams were efficient from the perimeter early in the game, trading baskets in the first two quarters. Going into halftime, the score was tied at 23. The second half was a track meet like the first half, but then the Wranglers had a few defensive lapses, which caused the Titans to get a lead. The Wranglers then went on a mini-run; however, the Titans' lead was too much for the Wranglers to overcome. The Wranglers lost 56-42. The Wranglers were led by Sebastian Pena, Levi Owira, and Trey Holt, who all scored in double figures. The Wranglers will be looking to bounce back this Saturday at home against the Timberview Wolves.

7th Grade B Team
CMS West: 21
Tidwell: 32

This week the Wranglers took on the Tidwell Titans on the road for their fifth season game. The Wranglers started slow, jump shots that they would normally make weren't falling, and they got down big early. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 7-0. The Wranglers picked up the offensive in the second quarter with a three-pointer and shots by the basket from Logan Garcia. The Titans weren't on an 8-0 run to start the third quarter, and it was a lead that was too much for the Wranglers to come back from. The Wranglers lost 32-21. The Wranglers will be looking to bounce back this Saturday at home against the Timberview Hawks.

7th Grade C Team
CMS West: 22
Tidwell: 16

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler C Team won their game this week against the Tidwell Titans. The final score was 22 to 16. The Wranglers opened up with an early lead that they held throughout the first three quarters. The Titans managed to run in the fourth quarter to make it a 6 point game. In the end, the Wranglers controlled the ball and pulled out the victory. Wrangler point guard, Hatim Nicobar, led the Wrangler offense to victory and led the team in scoring. Wrangler Center, Tiam Ansari, also contributed offensively to the win. Hatim Nicobar led the Wrangler Defense in steals. This Saturday, the Wranglers will take on the Timberview Hawks at home.
