WEST 7TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL TRAVELS TO INDIAN SPRINGS

West 7th Grade Volleyball travels to Indian Springs

WEST GIRLS ATHLETICS

Volleyball | 9/10/2021

A- Our Lady Wrangler A-team came in ready to show off their new and improved skills against the Lady Eagles but inevitably fell short. Our serving improved greatly, as well as our understanding of the court. We understood our transitions and bases much more which increased our confidence in our skills. Payton Moses stepped it when we needed her to serve after another player got injured and Ameya Kella had some amazing hits in the front row! We are excited to see how much more we improve when Pike comes to visit next week.

B- The Lady Wrangler B team had a great game on the road vs. the Indian Springs Eagles. The girls started off strong and battled in very close games. The B team lost the first one by just a few points, went on to win game 2 with a score of 29-27 and fought hard in game 3, but lost in a close one in the end. All players contributed and showed improvement from last week, which is all we ask for as coaches. The girls came together more often this game and looked like more of a team this week, and it paid off. We hope that they will keep learning even more from their mistakes and make even more improvements for next week in their game at home. Players of the game this week go to Siri Kodali and Nidhi Koyyalamudi.

C- The Lady Wrangler C team worked really hard and improved on some things from last week, but unfortunately they fell short in the end. The girls did a better job on serves as a whole this game, but our serve/receive did not match our serve game. All C team players contributed in some great rallies as a team, but our player of the game goes to Manali Patel for her great serves and overall hustle.
