8th Grade A Team

The 8th grade A Team was back at their home field Tuesday night to face off against Timberview Middle School of Keller ISD. The Wrangler defense would have some standout play from their front 7 but big plays would cost them in the end. Ryker Villines saw time at both linebacker and defensive end and was in the backfield from both positions. Julian Walker had 2 tackles for a loss at linebacker as well. Tiam Ansari and Vinit Patel got into the Timberview backfield from the D-Line a few times on the night. The offense struggled to do anything all night long. The Wrangler are on the road next week at Chisholm Trail Middle School

8th Grade B Team
Timberview- 28
West- 6

The Coppell West Wranglers took on the Timberview Hawks in their second home game of the season. The Wranglers started on defense to begin the game and came out flying around and getting great tackles from Supreme Sharma, Abdul Mirza, and Justice Ihizie. After that, the Wranglers received the ball on offense, and their running game was great. Quarterback Kumail Abid and running back Justice Ihizie helped the Wranglers move the ball all first half. Quarterback Kumail Abid scored on a quarterback keeper to give the Wranglers a 6-0 lead. The score was 6-6 going into halftime. In the second half, the Hawks got some key defensive stops and played with more momentum. Even though the Wranglers fought hard all game, the Timberview Hawks came out with the victory. The Wranglers will be looking to get on the winning column next week on the road against Chisholm Trail Middle School.




7th Grade A Team

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler A Team lost their third game of the year to the Timberview Middle School Hawks. The final score of the game was 49-0. Wrangler outside linebacker, Camron Chevalier-Tek, led the Wrangler Defense in tackles. EJ Lewis also contributed to the Wrangler Defense throughout the game. Running back, Camron Chevalier-Tek, also led the Wrangler Offense in rushing yards. Next week, the Wranglers will take on Chisholm Trail Middle School at home.



7th Grade B team
West- 0
Timberview- 47

The 7th grade B team traveled to Timberview Middle School Tuesday night to take on the Hawks. The defense, led by Anuj Palaniraj and Rishabh Patel struggled to stop the Hawks offense all game. The offense, led by Darsh Thakur, also had a slow start to the game, but continued to fight hard. The B team will play Chisholm Trail Middle School next Tuesday at home.
