Congratulations on our first clean sweep of the season! The 7th grade girls were hungry for some wins this week and they got them at home on Thursday night against the Chisholm Trail Bulldogs. The B team started the night off with some new teammates and new rotations and even though it wasn’t seamless, the girls made it work and came out on top with their first win of the season. All girls contributed to the win and gave it their all while on the court. There was so much heart and hustle this game, and it definitely showed and so glad it paid off. Player of the game this week goes to Shreeya Komaravelli for her strong serves and offensive play.

Our A team brought their A-game to defeat Chisholm Trail in 3 games. We tried a new rotation and had Riya Suresh play all the way around and got a lot of good passes and saves to build the confidence in the rest of her team. We dropped the first game to our opponent’s in extra points, but didn’t let that get the best of us and came back and won the next 2 games. Our subbing and rotation mistakes were minimal and the girls really showed how their knowledge of the sport and the court is growing. Addison Howard and Ameya Kella their serves with Addison having an 11-serve streak to finish us out in the 3rd game. We are so proud of this win!
