The Meet of Champions at Pike Middle School was a great ending to an amazing season for the Wranglers. Two teams qualified for the competition, Boys 8th Grade and Boys 7th Grade. They did an outstanding job and finished in 5th and a tie for 7th respectively. Individually the boys did well also. All 7 of the 7th grade boys runners set new PR’s and 3 of the 8th grade boys set PR’s. On the girls side, they set their sites high as individuals and competed well. Once again we had a slew of new PR’s, all 6 of the 8th grade girls set a PR and 4 of the 7th grade girls.

I could not be prouder of the effort and attitude that these athletes bring to the sport. I am privileged to be able to coach them.
