Our A team was up for a defensive night against Fossil Hill last night at our second to last home game of the season. Up against a huge front row presence our girls stepped up and worked hard on defense, and that led to some great rally’s and plays throughout the night. It’s evident that the girls' confidence is building, and they continue to lift each other up through our tough losses. Kennady Coronado had a great night all the way around, as well as Sophia Kim had a great defensive night. And as always our setters, Sophia Tran and Meera Patel hustled around trying to set their team up for the best scenarios possible. Our player of the week this week was Naryssa Patel. She has stepped up into a new position on the front row and has tackled it with a positive attitude and has worked hard all week at learning her new positions.

B team had a great night last night! We lost a very close first set 24-26, then were able to rally back and come together in our second set for a win 25-19. The girls were able to take advantage of Fossil Hill’s serving and rally errors and did a great job of building their confidence and pushing through and fighting for that win. As we moved into the 3rd set, the girl were pumped about their success, however we fell into some serve receive errors and were unable to pull off the win this week. Each week we are getting closer and closer to reaching that win column. Our player of the game this week was Midhuna Prakash who was our top server and scorer for the night as well as a strong presence on the front row for us last night.

The Lady Wranglers C team did an excellent job last night despite our loss against Fossil Hill Middle School. Although the C team was unable to play last week due to our opponent not having a C team, it was very clear that they have been polishing up their skills all week to prepare for this week's game. They did a great job communicating with each other on the court and serving has improved as a team. Next week we will continue to work on rotations during practice as well as communication while on the court. The player of the game is Lahari Vojjala with 3 made serves 2 kills and 2 blocks. Congratulations to the C team on all their progress and hard work.
