The Lady Wranglers traveled across town on Thursday night for their last game on the road. The Lady Wranglers C team started the night off with a close game and some great play by all players but eventually fell short to the East Broncos. The first set was very close and the Lady Wranglers battled it out, but just could not return a few of their tough serves. Player of the game goes to Shree Vijay Krishna for her strong performance on the front row.

The Lady Wrangler B team stepped on the court and seemed hungry for their second win of the season. This team has gone to three with several opponents this season, but they were hoping to just take it in two. However, some tough serves and aggressive net play from the Broncos proved to be a lot for the Lady Wranglers on Thursday night. The Lady Wranglers battled and tried, but they never got in their groove and couldn’t get on a roll this night. Player of the game goes to Rachel Chio for her hustle and leadership on the court.

A team went onto the court with the skills to beat East, but couldn’t quite seem to find them that night. Serves seemed to have a mind of their own and our passes just weren’t ready. Our minds succumbed to the pressure of the cheering crowd. We just were not able to overcome and come together as a team. Ameya Kella tried to get the second set going again with a 5 serve streak. Riya Suresh never gave up while she played all the way around for both games. Hannah Polito worked hard to keep the ball off the ground. Player of the game is Ameya Kella for her serves and hustle.
