7th Grade A:
Indian Springs: 46
West: 26
This week the Wranglers took on the Indian Springs Eagles at home. The game was a defensive battle. Both teams couldn't convert many baskets in the first quarter. As the second quarter peaked, the Wrangler's offense started to click as Ritvesh Achivenkata, and Samardh Talagadadeevi made some excellent offensive plays. The Eagles went on a run and pulled out the victory. The Wranglers will be looking to bounce back after Thanksgiving break as they take on the Pike Panthers on the road.

7th Grade B:
Indian Springs: 43
West: 17
The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers took on the Indian Springs Eagles in their first home game! The Wranglers started off the game by attacking the basket and getting the Eagles in foul trouble. The Eagles adjusted their offense and took the lead going into halftime. Evan Baltimore and Rueben Sarkodie began the second half with excellent perimeter defense. However, it was not enough as the Eagles pulled out the victory. The Wranglers are looking to regroup and will play Pike Panthers.

7th Grade C:
Indian Springs: 17
West: 13

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler C Team lost their first home game this week to the Indian Springs Middle School Eagles. The final score was 17-13. The Wranglers got up to an early lead and ended the first quarter up 12-5. The Eagles were able to narrow the lead by halftime, while shutting down the Wrangler offense in the second quarter. In the second half, the Eagles took the lead and managed to hold on until the end of the game. Wrangler guard, Renish Joshi, led the Wrangler offense in scoring with 8 points. Wrangler Center, Philip Fordjour, led the Wranglers in rebounding with 15 rebounds. The Wranglers next game will be away versus the Pike Middle School Panthers.

8th Grade A:
Indian Springs: 57
West: 45

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler A Team lost Monday night to Indian Springs Middle School. Offensively, the Wranglers moved the ball better and were led in points by Sebastian Pena. The Wranglers improved defensively from last week and kept the score close all game. The Wranglers take on Pike Middle School on Wednesday, December 1st.

8th Grade B:
Indian Springs: 37
West: 20

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler B Team lost their second game of the season Monday night to Indian Springs Middle School. Offensively, the Wranglers moved the ball and took advantage of several fast break opportunities. The Wranglers played good team defense all game and the defense was led by Stanley Calvin and Justice Ihezie. The Wranglers take on Pike Middle School on Wednesday, December 1st.

8th Grade C:
Indian Springs: 21
West: 25

The Coppell Middle School West C Team earned their first road win of the season against the Indian Springs Middle School Eagles. It was a hard fought first half, but the Wranglers found themselves trailing at halftime by a score of 10-13. A strong showing with 9 points in the third quarter put the Wranglers in the lead and they held off the Eagles to win with the final score being 25-21. Alyaan Dhanani was an offensive force throughout the game accounting for 15 of West’s 25 points, scoring seven field goals and one free throw to lead the team. The Wranglers have an off-week next week for the holiday break, then get back in action on December 1st at home against Pike.
