7th Grade A:

Timberview: 37

This week, the Coppell West Wranglers played a home game against Timberview Middle School Hawks. The Wranglers took an early lead in the first quarter, then Timberview went on a 6-0 run and slowly started to chip away at the Wrangler lead. The Wranglers couldn't convert on their attempts at the basket and were down going into halftime. The Wranglers couldn't find a rhythm all game and lost 37-25. I am proud of the guy's effort and hustle; we will fix a few things in practice and be ready for the Chisholm Trail Bulldogs next Monday on the road.

7th Grade B:
West B: 35
Timberview: 20

This week the West Wranglers took on the Timberview Hawks at home for their fourth game of the season.The Wranglers started with tremendous ball pressure from Evan Baltimore and Rueben Sarkodie, which turned into fast breakpoints. As a result, the Wranglers got a big lead going into halftime. The Wranglers carried over the momentum from the first half to finish the game and won 35-20. The Wranglers are looking to add to the win column next week as they take on Chisholm Trail middle school on the road.

7th Grade C:
West: 23
Timberview: 12

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler C Team won their game this week against the Timberview Middle School Hawks. The final score was 23 to 12. Wrangler Center, Philip Fordjour, led the Wranglers in Rebounds (12) and scoring (8 points). Pointguard, Anuj Palaniraj, scored 6 points to contribute to the win. Wrangler guards, Renish Joshi and Vincent Nguyen, led the Wrangler defense in steals. Next week, the Wranglers will take on Chisholm Trail Middle School on the road.

8th Grade A:
West: 42
Timberview: 35

This week, the Coppell West Wranglers played an away game against Timberview Middle School Hawks. The Wranglers earned their first win of the season led offensively by Sebastian Pena. The defense, led by Malachi Jackson and Aston Huyhn kept the Hawks close all game. Next week, the Wranglers take on Chisholm Trail MS at home.



8th Grade B:
West B: 9
Timberview: 24

This week, the Coppell West Wranglers played an away game against Timberview Middle School Hawks. The Wranglers found good scoring opportunities throughout the game but struggled to score. Defensively, the Wranglers played with great energy and effort. Next week, the Wranglers take on Chisholm Trail MS at home.
