The Wranlgers soccer teams were back in action Thursday as they faced off against Medlin Middle School. The A-Team kicked things off with a hard fought battle on thee defensive end. The wind would once again play a huge factor in the game, but the West defense would not let that be any excuse. The Wranglers had the wind at their backs the first half but were unable to capitalize on any of their scoring opportunities. Justice Ihizie had a couple of great passes up to Alyaan Dhanani but the Wranlgers were unable to put the ball in the back of the net. Defensively the Wranglers shined. Dristant Chaudhary had a couple of great saves and defensemen Amrit Patel, Tej Kantam, Eron Quintero, Aiden George, and Alessandro Sierra shut down the Medlin Offense. The Wranglers now move to 1-1-2 on the season and will travel to CMS North next Tuesday!
The B team game kicked off right after the A team and the Wranglers came out aggressive! Dev Sharma, Pranav Reddy and Rithik Reddy, kept the West offense in striking distance all night long. The Wranglers were unable to capitalize on their scoring chances though. Medlin scored one goal in each of the two halves and the Wranglers fell 0-2. The B team moves to 0-3-1 on the season and will travel to CMS North next Tuesday!
