The Lady Wranglers had their last home game of the season last night against the North Cougars. The girls came out pretty sluggish in the first half against the North A team. Our defensive back did a great job of holding in the middle, but a few of our girls overplayed their positions and we struggled to keep up.

However, at the half we made our team goal to finish strong with some great energy and the girls accomplished that well. While we still struggled with a few positional details, the second half proved much more successful for us and we were able to take the ball down the field and put some pressure on the Cougars.

Our players of the game this week was our right midfielder Kassandra Garcia, and one of our back defenders Ishitha Mallidi who took a hard kick to the face last night and toughed it out and finished the game strong.

Our girls finish out their season next Wednesday as they travel to Hillwood Middle School. Good Luck ladies!
