The Lady Wrangler 7th grade volleyball teams traveled to Adams Middle school for their first game of the season on Thursday night. The C team started the night off strong with some exciting plays. Although they just barely fell short of the victory, the C team fought incredibly hard and took the Lady Lions to three after winning the first game 26-24. The player of the game goes to Sanvi Gubbi Arun for her amazing serves, energy, and leadership! We are so proud of how hard our C team worked and cannot wait for a great season.

After watching our C team play an incredible game, the Lady Wrangler B team came out ready to play! Although we fell short, the B team fought incredibly hard and did a great job of encouraging one another throughout the game. They had some really great rallies and awesome serves, and we are so proud of the way that they maintained their fundamentals against a challenging opponent. The player of the game goes to Isabella Smith for her incredible serves, passes, and attitude! We are so proud of our B team’s hard work and know we are going to have a great season together.

The Lady Wrangler A team started off strong against the Adams Lady Lions, but they just couldn’t hold on to that momentum and finesse throughout the game. All players contributed and did great for their first game of the season and now they can see where they need to work on and keep improving for the next game. Offensive players of the game were Pranavi Madala and Emma Hurst. Defensive players of the game for this week went to Esha Polishetty and Layal Abou-Jamous. Overall, a great first game for these Lady Wranglers and they are already preparing for next week’s game against the Carroll Dragons.
