Despite their best efforts, the Coppell Middle School Wrangler B Team lost their first game to the Carroll Middle School Dragons. The final Score was 42-0. Both offensive and defensive played extremely hard throughout the game with the defense creating multiple turnovers. On defense, Shaun Gandhi led the defense with two fumble recoveries. On offense Svar Patel led the team in rushing yards. Next week, the Wranglers will play on the road again against the Fossil Hill Middle School Panthers.

Carroll: 74

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler A Team lost their season opener this week to the Carroll Middle School Dragons. The final score of the game was 74-0. The Carroll Dragons got out to an early lead and expanded throughout the game. Coppell West Quarterback, Taylor Johns, led the Wrangler Offense in rushing and passing throughout the game. Running Back, Nyne Palmer, also contributed in rushing yards. On defense, Linebacker Taylor Johns, led the team in tackles. Next week, the Wranglers will play on the road again against the Fossil Hill Middle School Panthers.
