The Lady Wrangler C team started the night off strong with a victory over the Carroll Dragons (25-16), (18-25), and the final match ending with (15-10). All the girls rallied together as a unit in our first win of the season. Their communication and cheering was beyond our expectation and made us coaches ecstatic. Our captain, Shree Vijay Krishna, showed out by being our lead scorer with strong and consistent serves. Next week we will work on our defensive rotations to better prepare for our upcoming game against Fossil Hill Middle School.

The Lady Wrangler B team ended their second match with a loss against the Carroll Dragons. However, this loss does not define our team or the remainder of our season. The girls adapted to our Libero joining the rotation with minimal errors. Player of the game goes to Payton Moses! Payton did a wonderful job of making all her serves, and was a tremendous leader on and off the court. This upcoming week we will work on transitioning on and off the net when a hit is coming to avoid giving away easy points. We are looking forward to our next home game against Fossil Hill Middle School and hope to see everyone there!

The Lady Wrangler A team finished the night for us against the Carroll Dragons. Despite a tough Carroll offense, the girls had a spectacular night. It’s unfortunate that the scores do not reflect the efforts that our A team puts in every week. Despite some confusion with our rotations, the girls had some great rallies and gave Southlake a run for their money. Players to highlight this week were Riya Suresh who stepped up as one of our libero’s and did a great job, as well as Taliah Ellis who had a near perfect night serving for us. Next week, the girls will play home again against Fossil Hill Middle School.
