The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler B Team lost to the Fossil Hill Panthers. The final score of the game was 26- 0. Wrangler quarterback, Aayush Golla, led the Wranglers in rushing yards. Renish Joshil, led the Wrangler Defense. The Fossil Hill Middle School Panthers managed to get up to an early lead and held it throughout the game. Next week, the Wranglers will take on the Vista Ridge Middle School Panthers on the road.

The West Wranglers played their 2nd game of the season against the Fossil Hill Panthers at Coppell High School’s Buddy Echols Field this week. The Wranglers got off to a poor start after they failed to field the opening kickoff and the Panthers started with the ball on the Wranglers side of the field. Two plays later the Panthers found the endzone and the Wranglers were down 8-0 early. That would be all that Fossil Hill would need on the night as the Wrangler offense struggled to move the ball. A few great passes by quarterback Arya Bonthu got the Wrangler offense a couple of first downs, but the running game for West struggled to do anything against the Fossil Hill defensive line. The Wranglers are on the road next week at Vista Ridge Middle School.
