The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers lost their first game at home this week to the Vista Ridge Middle School Panthers with the final score 13-0. On defense the team was able to come out strong by making multiple tackles for a loss and getting a turnover, Shaun Ghandi and Bransen Wakaba led the team in tackles. Svar Patel was able to lead the offense in rushing yards and Emmit Wilson completed multiple passes down the field. Next week the Coppell Middle School West Wranglers will be playing at home again against the Coppell Middle School North Cougars.

7th Grade A Team:

Vista Ridge: 34

The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers lost their first home game this week to the Vista Ridge Middle School Panthers. The bleachers were packed with fans from both schools, cheering on their respective teams. The final score of the game was 34 to 0. The Panthers got up to an early lead in the first quarter and their defense was able to shut down the Wrangler Offense throughout the first half. In the second half, the Wrangler Offense made some adjustments and managed to move the ball down the field, completing several key passes. Leading the Wrangler offense was Quarterback, Nyne Palmer, who made several completions to Wide Receivers Elliot Kim and Dhruv Madavarapu. On Defense, Palmer also led the Wranglers in tackles, with some help from Cornerbacks Kai Henslee and Siddanth Kakani. Next week, the Coppell Middle School West Wranglers will take on the Coppell Middle School North Cougars at home.
