The Lady Wrangler 7th grade volleyball teams played their first home game of the season against Vista Ridge Middle School on Thursday night. The B team started off the night strong and earned their first win at home. They had great intensity throughout the match. The overall player of the game is Siya Bohra for her incredible serves, passes, encouragement, hustle, and intensity. The serving players of the game are Isabella Smith and Mya Barnes for helping lead the B team to their 25-2 victory in the second game of the match.

The A team brought home their first win of the season last night in front of their home crowd after an intense game. The Lady Wranglers A team won the first game 25-14, lost the second 18-25, and won the third 15-8. They had high levels of energy, communication, and encouragement, and they were so excited to bring home their first win of the season. The players of the game were Aaliyah Nicholson for her great attitude and intensity, Esha Polishetty for her strong leadership, and Emma Hurst for her powerful serves.

Although Vista Ridge did not have a C team, the Lady Wrangler C team brought so much energy to the A and B games and played a great scrimmage. Their serves, communication, passing, and encouragement were incredible. They can’t wait for their game next week.
