The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers B team played the Coppell Middle School North Cougars this week at home. Despite best efforts the Wranglers lost with a final score of 14-0. Our Wrangler defense started the game off strong with Svar Patel and Arsh Yadav making multiple tackles for a loss and quarterback hits. On Offense, Wide Receiver Adam Khayat was able to catch and run with the ball for our longest passing play of the season. Next week our Wranglers will travel to Justin and play the Wilson Middle School Wildcats at Texan Stadium.


7th Grade A Team:

North: 40

The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler A Team lost this week to the Coppell Middle School North Cougars. The Cougars started off strong on Offense and scored quickly in the first quarter. The Cougar defense was able to hold the Wrangler Offense to 0 points in the first half. The score going into halftime was 28 to 0. In the second half, the Wranglers moved the ball down the field on several drives, but were unable to break the Cougar Defense. The final score of the game was 40 to 0. Wrangler Quarterback, Taylor Johns, led the offense this week in both rushing and passing yards. He was assisted on Offense by Running Back, Gabriel Maldima, and Wide Receiver, Elliot Kim. Wrangler Center, Prateek Pilly, kept the offense going with excellent snaps throughout the game. The Defensive leaders of the game were Linebacker, Jayden Karjee, and Defensive End, Ethan Yang. Next week, the Coppell Middle School West Wranglers will travel to Texan Stadium, in Justin, to take on the Wilson Middle School Wildcats.
