The Coppell Middle School West Wrangler B Team lost to the Coppell Middle School East Broncos. The final score of the game was 12 - 0. Wrangler quarterback, Aayush Golla, led the Wranglers in rushing yards. Nicholas Besaw, led the Wrangler Defense. The Coppell Middle School East Broncos managed to get up to an early lead and held it throughout the game. Next week, the Wranglers will look to get on the win column as they take on the Timberview Middle School Hawks at home.

8th Grade A Team:
West: 12
East: 26

The West Wrangler 8th Grade A team took on the East Broncos this week at Buddy Echols Field at CHS. The Wranglers put up their best fight of the season so far, but fell a little short in the second half. The Broncos got the scoring started in the first quarter but the Wranglers answered right back on their next possession when running back Camron Chevelier-Tek ran the ball up the middle before bouncing it outside for the 75 yard touchdown. The Wrangler would get one more score before the end of the first half when Arya Bonthu found Da’Wayvien Witcher for an incredible 18 yard touchdown pass that bounced off of two players before Witcher hauled it in. The Wranglers took a 12-10 lead into halftime. The Wranglers would simply run out of gas in the 2nd half. The Broncos found the end zone two more times while the Wranglers were shut out in the 2nd half. The Wranglers are back in action at home next Wednesday vs Timberview Middle School.
