The Lady Wranglers Wrestling team started off the season with an incredible first match this week against Keller, Indian Springs, East, and North. After a great first week of practice last week, the Wrestlers were excited to get out on the mats and put their new knowledge and skills into practice.

Eliana Acuna was the very first Wrestler of the night, and she started off the evening with an exciting win for the Lady Wranglers. As the night continued, we had intense matches from all of our Wrestlers, as well as more wins from Hannah Polito, Howra Abubeker, Anabella Pernia, and Lilly Davis. The energy was high throughout the entire match, and the Lady Wranglers were able to finish the exact same way they started— with a win! In the very last match of the night, Lilly Davis fought incredibly hard and brought home one final win for the night for the Lady Wranglers. The Wrestlers of the Week are Eliana Acuna for her grit, focus, and intensity through all three of her matches and Lilly Davis for her incredibly hard work that resulted in an undefeated record.

We could not be prouder of the Lady Wranglers Wrestling team for how well they competed and supported one another in their first match. They are already fired up for their next match, which will be against Colleyville Heritage on Tuesday, November 15th at 5:30 (location TBD). We hope to see you there!
