The Lady Wrangler 8th grade teams traveled to Carroll Middle School on Thursday night to take on the Dragons. The B team started the night off with some aggressive play and continued to battle right up until the final buzzer. Sade Fontaine came in the game on fire on defense and led the team in steals while Kanishka Muthukuri tried with all her might to make something happen on offense and was able to score 4 points for the Lady Wranglers.

The Lady Wrangler A team was short a few players this week and it definitely did not help against such an aggressive and offensively strong Dragon team. Jamyson High-Williams tried to help the Lady Wranglers on offense, but with a strong defensive match up and a double team when in the paint, she was not able to make as much happen this week. Taliah Ellis battled on both offense and defense to help her team and did all that she could leading the team in rebounds with 8 for the night. Payton Moses stepped up this week with having some teammates out sick and had some great moments on both offense and defense to try and help her team.

Overall, we are very proud of the Lady Wrangler teams and look forward to our week off for everyone to rest and heal to get ready for our next game on the road at Fossil Hill on December 1.
