8th Grade Boys Get Sweep of Fossil Hill

The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers took on the Fossil Hill Panthers for their third straight road game of the season. The Wranglers started off the game with great ball pressure which caused several turnovers. Cristuan Young, De’Wayvein Witcher and Prabhav Pola capitalized on the errors by Fossil Hill and gave the Wranglers a 10 point lead going into the second quarter. Ritvesh Achivenkata, and Sachid Pola played their best basketball of the early season. Andrew Ma mixed it up on offense with drives to the basket and outside jumpshots. Madhav Kumar played great in the post and grabbed several rebounds. Samardh Talagadadeevi led the Wranglers in scoring with 24 points. The Wranglers will look to add to the win column next week as they play their first home game of the season against Vista Ridge Middle School next Monday.

B Team:
West: 36
Fossil Hill: 23
This week the West Wranglers took on the Fossil Hill Panthers on the road. The West Wrangles dominated the game from start to finish! Rueben Sarkodie, and Phillip Fordjour made an impact that set the tone for the game. They disrupted the Fossil Hill offense, and grabbed several rebounds. Arya Bonthu, and Aryan Patel made plays all night that even had the opponents crowd in amazement. Aayush Golla came in off the bench and hit big shots, and Evan Baltimore who was the player of the game played bigger than his stature and grabbed several rebounds. Overall great team effort which resulted in the first win of the season. The Wranglers will look to continue the winning streak as they face Vista Ridge Middle School next week.

C Team:
West: 35
Fossil Hill: 23
The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers took on the Fossil Hill Panthers this week and handled business and took home a victory 35-23. Denim Jones led the way with 10 points and 3 steals playing some great defense. Anuj Palaniraj and Tre Carthen played some lock down defense as well making it difficult for any Panther to score. The Wranglers look to continue their hot streak next Monday, December 5th against Vista Ridge.
