The C team girls came out ready for a battle. The girls were slow to adapt to the quick transitions of the Panthers and struggled to establish a solid momentum. In the end, we could not keep up and lost 5 to 16. Our player of the game goes to Sophia Houston, who had strong offensive and defensive rebounds, scoring 2 points, and having 1 steal. We have lots to work on, but our girls are getting better every week.

What a nail biter! Such a close game for our B team Lady Wranglers who only lost by 2 points; 11 to 13. Intensity was evident but inexperience and a lack of fundamentals cost us the game. We had multiple missed fast break layups and went 1-6 on free throws. Had the girls been at 50% from the free throw line we would have had a tied ball game. However, we are all so proud of the girls for battling it out. Our player of the game goes to Anaiya Keen! Her aggressiveness allowed her to lead her team in overall rebounds, steals, and points on the board. We look forward to our next game against Vista Ridge.

The A team finished off the night against the Fossil Hill Panthers. The girls started off strong in the first quarter, leading into the second, however Fossil Hill was able to outpace us for the remainder of the night. The girls struggled to control the game, set up plays, and keep up with a quick Panther defense. There was improvement in rebounding this week and when we can begin capitalizing on those opportunities, the girls will be able to find some more success. Our player of the game this week was Amani Harper as our leading scorer. Or honorable mention was Jasmine Suez who also got a nice 3 pointer in the 1st half.
