The Lady Wranglers traveled to Fossil Hill Middle School on Thursday night to play against the Lady Panthers. The Lady Wrangler B Team fought hard, putting up multiple shots and keeping a quick energy throughout the game. Shreya Barat fought hard on defense, keeping the Lady Panthers from scoring, while having a total of 3 steals and 4 points for West. Ishani Tamma put up a fight with 6 points for West. Suha Parvathaneni also led the Lady Wranglers in rebounds and in defensive strategy with 9 total rebounds. Through a hard fight and great defense, the Lady Wranglers came out with their first win against Fossil Hill, 16-15. Great Job, ladies!

The Lady Wrangler A team came in hungry for their first win of the season and that is exactly what they got! The girls started the game off strong and never let go of that momentum, making sure out-score the Lady Panthers all 4 quarters. All players contributed to this hard-fought victory, but leading the team with 20 points, 2 steals and 2 rebounds was Jamyson High-Williams and Taiah Ellis with 5 points, 3 steals and 10 rebounds. Scoring 4 points each for the Lady Wranglers was Sophia Ennes, Vyshnavi Devarakonda and Aditi Yechangunja. Contributing 2 points was Payton Moses and Hannah Polito. This was definitely a team effort and defense was key in this game, and all players had a great defensive game to contribute to their 41-25 victory over the Lady Panthers.

The Lady Wranglers are looking forward to using this momentum to take them in to their first home game of the season on Thursday against the Vista Ridge Lady Panthers.
