The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers played in their last road game of the season against the Timberview Middle School Hawks. The Wranglers' pressure was too much for the Hawks. Robert Watson made tough layups on the fastbreak that even had the Timberview fans in amazement. Madhav Kumar grabbed several rebounds, and played great defense. Andrew Ma made baskets around the rim, Prabhav Pola played valuable minutes at point guard. He came in the game and controlled the tempo of the game, made great decisions, and was very vocal on defense. Overall great team effort by the team! The Wranglers will be looking to finish out the regular season with a record of 8-1 next week at home against Trinity Springs Middle School.

This week in Coppell Athletics the Wranglers took on the Timberview Middle Hawks in their last road game of the season. The Wranglers played their suffocating full court defense to start off the game and it caused so many steals and turnovers on Timberview. The Wranglers capitalized on the turnovers with Phillip Fordjour scoring close to the basket. Aayush Golla came in the game and gave the Wranglers so much needed scoring, and playmaking. His playing was a big factor in helping the Wranglers maintain a steady lead throughout the game. Evan Baltimore came in off the bench and energized the team as well. His hot shooting, and defense was a sight to see. The Wranglers will close out their season next week at home against Trinity Springs Middle School.

8th grade C Team
West - 29
Timberview - 9

The Coppell Middle School West Wranglers were victorious in their last road game of the season this week vs the Timberview Middle School Hawks. Jumping out to an early lead and never looking back, the Wranglers locked up the victory 29-9. Led by this week’s player of the game, Dayton Tran, the Wranglers spread the ball around well as a team with multiple players including Tran, Akash Arepally, Tre Carthen, Pranav Vempati, Anush Bindlish, Denim Jones, and Renish Joshi each scoring buckets. Pranav Vempati was a beast with the defense crashing the boards and racking up 5 blocked shots. With active hands, Denim Jones, Tre Carthen, and Dayton Tran all grabbed a couple of steals each. The Wranglers look to close out their season next week at home vs the Trinity Springs Middle School Titans.
