The A team finished off a big night for us against Timberview with a win to finalize our sweep. The girls started off well with defense, playing much better than last week and pressuring the ball well. We took advantage of opportunities to work together as a team, learning from our mistakes from previous weeks. The game allowed some of our players to get some more playing time and experience, rolling us into the win, with a final score of 34-9. We hit over half of our team goals and finished with a high team efficiency! Our players of the game were Amani Harper, who scored a game high 20 points and had 6 steals, and Isabela Smith who was our leading rebounder on defense with 7 rebounds. Honorable mentions were Rachana Ambati who got lots of minutes and played well overall, Charlotte Gemmil who stepped into the point guard role to end the game for us, and Esha Polishety who always plays great and is a good leader on the court.
