A -Team: It was a nailbiter all across the board. All 3 matches were intense and very close! You didn't know which team was going to pull it off! However, Coppell North did sweep Coppell West 2-0 in all matches, but it was exciting volleyball! For the A team, defense and close net play kept them in the game. Alette Brown and Madison Villegas dug out several hits from Coppell North's tough front line. Kashvi Mogili did a great job of getting to ball and setting up her hitters for some points for West. When West fell behind, Madison Villegas came back with 5 powerhouse serves to tie up the game. It was neck and neck the entire game, but A team fell short in the first game 22-25. For the second game, one of Coppell North's servers went on a 7 point run, which caused some frustration, but the Lady Wranglers kept fighting, but fell short 16-25. Sam Gottumukkala had some great serves throughout the night along with Rhea Parikh. Raksha Vemula kept the team together with great communication and hustling after every play. She made all of her serves over as well. Great game all around! Good job Lady Wranglers!

B-Team: WOW what an incredible start to our game against CMS North. In our first match, the girls were deflated quickly by the Cougars intensity and gameplay and ended up losing 11 to 25. However, during the second match the girls came out for vengeance and started fresh. They did not let the previous score impact their efforts and drive. The game was neck and neck till the very last moment. The final score against the Cougars was 22 to 25.



C-Team: C team was our final game against our cross-town rivals. We started off the game feeding off the energy of the crowds and games for A and B. However, we fell short of pulling a dub. Even though the girls lost 0-2, we have seen drastic improvements from our girls. This week we will be focusing on our serving and making passes to our target.
