A Team fought hard in the first game, making it a close one. Madison Villegas and Sam Gottumukkla earned some ace serves with Raks Vemula making some key plays and sets. Alette Brown had some excellent serve receive passes along with Rhea Parikh. The girls fell short in the first game, 20-25 and then couldn't quite break one of Grapevine's power servers, so they fell short 12-25 in the second match. Good efforts and more to improve on for next time!

B Team had a phenomenal game against Grapevine! The girls dominated the first set 25 to 18. The second set was neck and neck. However, they gave up a very generous lead and lost 29 to 30. When it came down to the 3rd set, we slowly started getting in our heads and missing our serves. The girls lost the 3rd set 12 to15. Everyone did such a great job, but our MVP went to Tanisha Yadav! She made all of her 17 serves and dominated the back row with awesome passing. No matter the score, I cannot express how much improvement these girls have made in just 4 short weeks. We look forward to our game against Heritage.


I am so proud to say that the 7th grade C team got the only dub of the night against Grapevine! It was an amazing performance by every player. In the first set we won 25 to 18 and the second set 25 to 16. Everyone is learning so quickly and improving drastically in each and every game. Our player of the game goes to Amoha Perla! Amogha had 12 made serves and one Ace! We look forward to our game against Heritage and Teacher Appreciation night.
