Happy Cross Country Season!! The Wrangler Cross Country Team ran their first meet this week at Andrew Brown Park West. The team competed against 3 other schools: Colleyville Middle School, Coppell Middle School North, and Grapevine Middle School.

Our 8th Grade Boys, overall, did very well! With three runners landing in the top 10 for Division A and three runners landing in the top 20 for Division B, our 8th grade boys worked very hard! With Siddanth Kakani wrapping up the Division A team time in 10th place with a time of 11.30, our boys showed the other teams that Coppell West was there to win. The Division A team and Division B team both landed in second place!! Great job!

For our 8th Grade Girls, 2 runners ended up placing in the top 10, with Vanini Agarwal landing 6th overall with a 12.46 time. Overall, the 8th grade Girls A Division landed 3rd place and the B Division landed 2nd! Very well done, ladies!

The 7th Grade Boys fought a hard race, landing third place for both team divisions, and two runners in the top 10 for Division A. Niraj Menon led the team with a 10.3.84 time for Division A, and John Wambu followed closely behind in 6th with a 11.10.86! Great job 7th Grade!

Finally, the 7th Grade Girls fought hard but landed short, placing last for both divisions. Prajakta Mandal was our first Division A runner across the finish line with an amazing time of 15.09.26 and Akshaya Chada leading our Division B team with a time of 18.25.90. Well done, ladies!
