The Wrangler Cross Country Team took on their second meet this week at Andrew Brown Park West again. The team competed against 3 schools: Colleyville Middle School, Coppell Middle School East, and Cross Timbers Middle School.

For our 8th Grade Girls and Boys A Divisions and B Divisions, we landed 3rd overall, with our A boys team getting a complete score of 65 and the A girls team getting a score of 58. Our fastest A Division male runner ran a 12.04.81 and our fastest female runner ran a 14.30.38. For the 8th grade B Division, we received scores of a 56 for the boys B division and 48 for the girls B division. Fantastic work, 8th grade! You worked so hard and we are all proud of you!

For our 7th grade teams, our runners fought hard but fell short, getting 4th overall for our A Division teams and girls B division, with the boys B division placing 2nd. Our fastest 7th Boy, for division A, ran a 12.21.88, and our fastest 7th Girl for Division A ran a 16.19.25. For Division B, our fastest 7th grade boy placed 1st with a time of 14.06.28, and our fastest girl placed 13th overall with a time of 17.38.89. GREAT effort and work done by our 7th grade teams!

Congratulations to all of our runners for a well race run! The Wrangler Cross Country Team will run their next meet in two weeks at Colleyville Middle School on October 18, 2023!
