The Wrangler Cross Country Team traveled to their third meet this week at Colleyville Heritage High School. The team competed against 2 schools: Colleyville Middle School and Grapevine Middle School.

For our 8th grade teams, all teams placed 2nd in each division! With 4 top 10 runners in 8th Girls A, 3 top 10 runners in 8th Boys A, 4 top 10 runners in 8th Girls B, and 4 top 10 runners in 8th Boys B, the 4 teams did an incredible job! Both 8th Girls B and 8th Boys B landed 1st place spots for individual runners, with our top girl running 16:07.53 and our top boy running 12:59.86. For 8th Girls A, our top girl (3rd place) ran a 13:41.34, and for our 8th Boys B, our top boy (2nd place) ran a 11:14.12. Fantastic job, 8th grade!

For our 7th grade teams, we landed 3rd overall for every division team, except for our 7th Grade Boys B Division, who placed 1st over all other teams! Our fastest 7th Boys B runner placed 1st individually with a 13:33.52 time. Our fastest 7th Girls B runner placed 3rd individually with a 16:53.22 overall. Our 7th Boys A group had a 1st place for an individual runner, with him landing a 11:20.22 time, and a 4th place runner with a 12:01.10 time. Our 7th Girls A Division worked hard, have one runner land in 10th overall with a 15:38.53 time.
