On May 9th, the Lady Wranglers faced their crosstown rivals, the North Cougars. They were excited to be competing back on their home turf after their historic win last week!

The A team started the night off strong with several runs up the field and lots of aggression and pressure on defense. Lilly Davis and Poshika Eswaran had several incredible saves in the goal throughout the night. The B team’s defense was strong from the start and put up a great fight against the competitive Cougars. Our goalie, Anvita Vanga, had several beautiful saves, and our entire team had many great touches on the ball throughout the game. Our spacing, communication, and ball movement has improved each week, and our hustle has continued to be excellent. Although the Lady Wranglers did not pull out a win, we are so proud of the Lady Wranglers and their hard work this week.

Despite facing tough competition, the Lady Wranglers remained unflappable throughout the entirety of the night. We are so proud of their hard work, composure, and effort every time they hit the field. Although we can’t believe it’s already here, our final regular season game will be tomorrow against the Grapevine Ponies. We hope to see you there!
