A Team: On Thursday, September 5th, our Lady Wranglers faced the Grapevine Ponies for their first district game. A team started the night off strong and our B and C teams followed their lead. The A Team had a strong serving game led by Alina Le and Sahasra Pemmasani which helped the Lady Wranglers get a good lead. With some solid plays, consistent hitting, and good defense, the Lady Wranglers kept the lead and took the win in 2 games.

B/C Team: Both teams had exceptional serving that helped solidify such a large lead. B team player of the game goes to Kusuma Chigurupati, and Greeshma Pallabothula for C team. Both of these athletes had 6+ aces in a row. While our serves were strong, we need to continue working on our passing game. Next week we have Heritage Middle School, and we are so extremely excited to face them.
