The Lady Wranglers took on a very tough Colleyville Colts team last night at Colleyville. The Lady Wranglers held with them for the first part of the game, but then a tough server stepped up to the line and served 10 in a row and the girls could not break the serve. The girls did a great job on defense, Alana Smith got a killer block and Kiera Suez did an excellent job digging up some hard hits, along with Emery Juarez adding some hustle plays. The girls had a slow start in the second game with another tough server, and couldn’t quite come back, so Colleyville took the victory 2-0. The Lady Wranglers have a bye week next week, but will come back and play on their home court against Cross Timbers.

The B and C Teams also had a tough time getting things going. Both teams stuck with them, but servers would come up and get on a run and the Wranglers couldn’t bounce back. For the B Team, Aanya Bajwala came up with some strong passes and saves to help the Wranglers with some rallies. As for the C Team, Inayat Bathla had some great passes and plays to keep the Wranglers in it. Both teams fell short 2-0.
