What an amazing Cross Country season at Coppell West this year! The hard work of our athletes was definitely shown through the last two weeks, at both our Zone Meet and Meet of Champions.

With our top 7th grade female runner placing first in Zone, and our top 8th grade male runners placing 6th and 7th place in Zone, we entered into the Meet of Champions on October 30, 2024, confidently. Overall at the Meet of Champions, our team scores were not at a place where we had hoped they would be, however our individual runners' scores and times were amazing!

Overall, we had three runners from different groups place in the top 10 of their divisions. With our 7th grade girls' fastest runner placing 2nd at a time of 13:25.970, our fastest 7th grade boys playing eighth at a time of 12:27.850, and our fastest 8th grade boy placing ninth at a time of 12:04.230. West was proudly represented, with 26 runners total at the Meet of Champions, working hard to make sure that the competition had to work for their spots.

We are so proud of the hard work and accomplishments of this team and cannot wait until next season!
