The Lady Wranglers opened up the season taking on the Grapevine Ponies! Two out of the three teams earned a victory. Not bad for the start of the season!

The A Team had a slow start in the first half, but came out strong in the second half catching up to the Ponies to make it a 6 point ball game. However, with key players getting into foul trouble and the Wranglers breaking down on defense, the Grapevine Ponies came out with the victory.

The B Team dominated the Grapevine Ponies starting the game off with some key steals and lay ups! Maya Drake was the leading scorer with 10 points, along with Anvi Jain with 8 points. With tough defense and executing fast breaks, the Lady Wranglers didn't allow a close game and won easily 30 to 11. Way to start off the season Lady Wranglers!

The C Team added another victory as well. Haya Khan and Inali Pothal led the team in scoring. The Lady Wranglers executed great defense once again. By making key shots, running the court, the girls won 16-4.

The Lady Wranglers come back to West next week to play Heritage! Hopefully we can have another successful night!
